Sundays
The round of Sunday services begins with Vespers on Saturday evening.  This is usually at 5 o' clock at St Elisabeth's church in Wallasey but please e-mail or telephone ahead first to make sure.

The Divine Liturgy is usually served every Sunday at St Elisabeth's, Wallasey.  The Liturgy is preceded by the Hours, beginning at approximately 9.30 a.m. Confessions are heard before the Liturgy, and tea, coffee, and light refreshments are usually served afterwards.

This is subject to some variation so please consult the calendar before setting off. 

One Sunday per Term
There is an occasional Liturgy in Lancashire during term time. This usually begins at approximately 10.30 a.m. Full details are published on the monthly calendar.

Weekday Services
When one of the Twelve Great Feasts falls on a day other than Saturday or Sunday, it is not celebrated with a Divine Liturgy on the day but rather Vespers the evening before.  There may also be other services from time to time at Little St Elisabeth's chapel in Birkenhead.  Please check the monthly calendar for full details.

In the monthly schedule, in the box for each day, you will notice two dates.  The bracketed date given is the date according to the Church calendar while the date in bold is the date according to the civil calendar. They are thirteen days apart.  To avoid confusion, the date in bold is the one for your diary.
