Walsingham - The site of an 11th century apparition of Our Ladye the Holy Theotokos to the Lady Richeldis de Faverches in the village of Little Walsingham. The grounds house a holy well and the Orthodox chapel is to be found within the grounds of the Anglican shrine. See also the

Holywell - A holy well on the site of the killing and miraculous resurrection of St Winefride is in Holywell, North Wales. There is an annual pan-Orthodox pilgrimage to this holy place in October.
